Decades of Growth Marketing Experience
Messy Desk was born from a deep problem-solving mindset and a desire to help small businesses grow.
I'm Elena—a marketing strategist with a background in psychology, experimentation, and startup grit.
I’ve worn many hats and made a career out of asking “what if?”
The real question is:
Is my actual desk messy?
No! I can’t stand chaos and clutter. That’s why when I spot an inefficient mess, I clean it up. From business to personal life, I focus on efficiency, optimization, and consolidation. You could even call me a minimalist.
The term "Messy Desk” is meant to reveal an early stage place with lots of potential, untouched paths, and passion for building.
I Know a Thing or Two…
I can’t stand these sappy bios, but my advisors say it must be done, so here’s what makes me qualified to run the show at Messy Desk:
I started my career as a Behavioral Researcher at AIG, where I worked with Noble Prize winner Daniel Kanhemman on negotiation and decision-making strategies.
I hold a psychology and economics degree from Harvard University and a graduate degree from Cambridge University in business.
I’ve worked for over 10 years in startup land, from small 3 people teams to larger Series D companies.
Because my approach is to think outside the box, I’ve consistently outperformed top named agencies (at a lower cost!) and have helped startups reach billion-dollar status through marketing efforts.
I absolutely cannot stand failure.
